This is the "VAN GELDER" stamped pressing of HERBIE HANCOCK'S "Takin' Off" on the "New York/Liberty" labels of Blue Note BST 84109. Musicians include Herbie Hancock — piano, Freddie Hubbard — trumpet, Dexter Gordon — tenor saxophone, Butch Warren — bass, Billy Higgins — drums.

VINYL plays beautifully. Ensemble sections are very dynamic  and strong, clear, clean and powerful. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very Good gloss. Handful of hairline marks, none feelable. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it)  The "New York / Liberty" labels are clean with spindle marks. See photos.

COVER is in good condition, stains  and wear present. Back jacket shows wear. Please see photos.
