Description
ARTIST: Herbie Hancock
TITLE: Takin' Off (FIRST EDITION 33 1/3 RPM 12" MONO LP PRESSING w/ "VAN GELDER" AND PLASTYLITE EAR IN DEADWAX AND DEEP-GROOVE ON SIDE 2 ONLY)
LABEL: Blue Note Records (BLP 4019)
COVER CONDITION: VG: Sleeve is in excellent shape for its age! Has minor ring wear, corner wear, edge wear. Cover lamination is in good shape, both sides have some yellowing. (See Photos).
VINYL CONDITION: VG: Vinyl has surface wear, marks, scuff marks on both sides, plays through with some popping/surface noise, plays with some light static, nothing that overpowers the music. Side 2 has a few "whitehead" markings that cause some popping/ticking during playback.
This Mono issue has:
- blue/white Blue Note Records Inc - New York USA labels,
- Deep groove S2 only,
- Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax, both sides,
- "P" (otherwise wrongly called "ear") for Plastylite etched in the trail off, both sides,
- laminated jacket,
- 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address on back cover
