Description
Mercury Records original pressing of audiophile holy grail LP H-Fi a la Espanola, Frederick Fennell conducting the Eastman-Rochester "Pops" Orchestra in latin style orchestral show pieces. Mercury SR-90144 12" 33 RPM stereo vinyl LP, stampers FR1/FR1, also scribed in the runout area is P17, this identifies mastering engineer George Piros. Lp has early maroon label with color back jacket. As were most early Mercury issues this was contract pressed by RCA at their Indianapolis plant. LP was fully auditioned and is graded EX with a few harmless rubs with no surface noise or distortion heard. Note; this is a 1960 pressing subject to the limitations of the time, it may or may not play perfectly quiet each time, every time. Jacket graded VG+ with intact seams and good cover pic but some corner and ring wear. Original buyer stamped a name on jacket back lower left corner. Includes original Mercury paper inner sleeve, will be shipped in polypropylene inner sleeve. Double boxed Priority shipping only. If there are questions or concerns please contact us.
