Description
Disc is an original 1961 pressing of HMV 396 :Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by CONSTANTIN SILVESTRI. Complete with origunal sleeve. Cover has small repair at botton edge..
The surfaces are clean and bright. There are NO MARKS or SCUFFS that are AUDIBLE - such marks would spoil your enjoyment. This particular recording is great music making - a cracker of a symphony as a one-time leader of the Halle Orchestra called the composer''s symphony in D major.
I have carefully played each side of this disc. It gave me HUGE PLEASURE to listen to. My listening was very keen until the last chord. I have to say that I am NOT A DEALER in recordings . . . it is after all, the music that matters. Yes, the disc is NOT TOTALLY MINT but is to my judgement a very nice copy to own and enjoy for ever..
Equipment used Linn Sondel LP12 turntable. SME 9 inch arm with Audio Technica AT-OC5 moving coil cartridge. Cyrus amplifier and Lowther transmission-line speakers. I only have this one copy and is taken from my own collection. I will accept international bids.
Package can be insured and tracked . Packing will be fit for purpose.
Thanks for taking an interest.
