New & Sealed Audiophile Vinyl Record in UHQR Box Packaging

Record label/brand: Mobile Fidelity UHQR MFQR 1-510

Mobile Fidelity's highest quality UHQR (Ultra High Quality Recording). Produced in limited quantities of 5,000 and pressed by the JVC Company of Japan on 200 gram Super Vinyl. Contains a Technical Specifications Manual, Certificate of Authenticity and packaged in foam-lined box, this is the audiophile's holy grail - it gets NO BETTER than this!

Box is in like new condition. Corners are sharp and sides are rigid. There are no visible flaws. UHQR Certificate Of Authenticity, Technical Specifications Manual and inner record jacket are like new. No flaws. There are no spindle marks on the label. Comes with special heavy-duty protective packaging and static and dust-free inner sleeve. Vinyl is shiny and plays beautifully.

Review: This record really brings the thunder!  There are few records that can even hope to match the amazingly deep bass on the UHQR Mofi!  This is truly an LP to show off your turntable/sound system.  My favorite cut on this is “Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age”.  These rare UHQR Mofis bring crazy amounts on the used record market, but if you can get your hands on one, I would recommend you do so.  This performance is Sir Georg Solti and the London Philharmonic, recorded in 1978 for Decca/London Records.  Happy listening! ~ The Morning Spin

About Mobile Fidelity's MHQR Releases: In addition to the regular-weight LP releases and box sets, MFSL also released eight UHQR (Ultra High Quality Record) titles on LP. Each was a single-record box set limited to 5000 copies and individually numbered. Each was a single-record box set limited to 5000 copies and individually numbered. UHQRs were pressed on heavy-weight (200 gram) "virgin" vinyl and pressed on the master stamper, also at JVC in Japan. The profile is essentially flat which far preceded the hoopla that surrounded Classic Record's 200gm flat pressings.
