If you are a collector of historic recordings and/or first recordings, you know how rarely these come up. If people know what they have, the just don't sell them. That being said, I believe there is currently another ebay auction selling this same pressing for a buy it now price of $3,499.99. I have not put a reserve on this record, so it will be a chance to get this super rare piece of history for much less money.
There are only 10 people on discogs that have logged this record (and that includes the less desirable version on the British Rhythm Society Label). This is the original US Brunswick version. Note that there is no average selling price listed on Discogs for this pressing due to the fact that nobody on discogs has listed it for sale and no copies have ever been sold (illustrating how collectors almost never sell these). This record is 82 years old, so it does play with surface noise. There is a small crack on outer edge that causes an audible tick for about 5-10 seconds (see photo), but both sides play through fine with no skips on either side. There are no stickers or writing on either side, so this is a great record for framing. Link to audio/video of both sides playing:

In June 1939, bandleader Harry James, who had heard Sinatra sing on "Dance Parade", signed a two-year contract of $75 a week one evening after a show at the Paramount Theatre in New York.
On July 13, 1939, then 23 year old Frank Sinatra recorded his first commercial record singing vocals for Harry James and His Orchestra. The songs were "From the Bottom of My Heart" and "Melancholy Mood". No more than 8,000 copies of the record were ever sold on the Brunswick label. Further records released with James through 1939, such as "All or Nothing at All", also had weak sales on their initial release. Thanks to his vocal training, Sinatra could now sing two tones higher, and developed a repertoire which included songs such as "My Buddy", "Willow Weep for Me", "It's Funny to Everyone but Me", "Here Comes the Night", "On a Little Street in Singapore", "Ciribiribin", and "Every Day of My Life".
