GET SET FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS WORTH OF ROCK LPs ON THE RARE AND OBSCURE SIDE! This is an ORIGINAL 1968 U.S. ELEKTRA RECORDS WHITE LABEL PROMO LP titled 'The Moray Eels Eat The Holy Modal Rounders' from psychedelic folksters The Holy Modal Rounders. It is Elektra Records catalog number EKS-74026, white label promo with a small sticker on the front cover also indicating a promo copy.   The record labels and the promo sticker on the front cover bear one additional inscription which does not appear in my accompanying images.  This LP contains the track 'Bird Song' which was used in the movie 'Easy Rider' - Other  tracks are: One Will Do For Now, Take-Off Artist Song, Werewolf, Interlude, Dame Fortune, Mobile Line, The Duji Song, My Mind Capsized, The STP Song, Interlude 2, Half A Mind, The Pledge. Condition of record is a real nice VG++ with all original gloss and just two or three surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a mid VG+ with some slight bends and wrinkles, a small to moderate amount of contact and ring wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and some other general wear along the edges and on the corners. This RARE WHITE LABEL PROMO LP would make a choice addition to any 1960s psychedelic rock record collection!
