'MOANIN' IN THE MOONLIGHT'

Here's his great debut album as issued in the UK,
on the black and gold-lettering CHESS lable
cat# CRL 4006 from 1964

This debut album is about as feral as blues could get!
The 'Wolf influenced so many budding bluesmen and women, much due to his presence as his vocal delivery. A big man who demanded full attention, revered by such as The Rolling Stones when they first went to the US to headline on The Ed Sullivan Show, where they insisted Howlin Wolf also make a startling appearance!
(the clean cut dancing white kids can't have known what was happening, with this swaying giant growling the blues at them!)

A heavy, solid UK vinyl platter, laminated single-sleeve card cover.

The vinyl is WONDERFUL NM- with barely any paper scuff visible.
Plays and sounds great!
The Lables grade VG++, clean with some spindle marks only.
The laminated card cover grades VG++, very decent, clean rear card, and light handling wear.
A RARE artifact from the original early 60's!!
