Description

Albert Brunies' Halfway House Orchestra play hot tunes entitled "Let

Me Call You Sweetheart" and "Maple Leaf Rag" on an electric

Columbia 476-D.


The Halfway House Orchestra was named after a dance hall called the

Halfway House that was halfway between New Orleans and Lake

Pontchartrain.


These 78rpm sides were both done in New Orleans on September 25,

1925.


The record is in excellent to excellent-plus (E to E+) condition on the

first side, and excellent to excellent-minus (E to E-) condition on the

reverse.

NOTE-winning bidder may wait for a week before paying for this item. I scheduled it on ebay forgetting that I would be on vacation until June 7th.
