Description
One of the most desirable Blue Note Deep Grooves. This is the nicest copy I have seen for sale in the past 3 years. Nice VG++ vinyl and NM- cover. Deep groove with 47 W 63rd NY 23 Address. RVG and "ear" in trail off. No marks on label. Vinyl has 4 light scuffs/scratches on side 1 that cannot be felt. Side 2 has no marks. Plays NM- with only an occasional very light crackle Cover has some light brown age spots on back. Front cover is near perfect. A small corner dent on the lower left corner. As everyone has their favorite cleaning method I have not cleaned the vinyl and the already nice sound may improve considerably.
This LP was listed last week but due to a problem with the high bidder's account, the LP needed to be re-listed. If you were one of the original bidders I would appreciate your understanding and hope you will bid again. I have listed 3 additional jazz Lps- also ending a week from today.
This LP came from a small, but well maintained collection obtained from an estate. Watch for more vintage jazz LPs in similar condition in coming weeks.
Postage $3 for US- extra for insurance. Foreign buyers will be quoted postage and insurance costs. Insurance is highly recommended as I cannot be responsible for loss of damaged uninsured items.
Grading is strict Goldmine. Visual grading done under 100 watt incandescent light. NM , NM- and VG++ records all have 100% of the "new record shine". VG+ records are still very nice copies with no serious flaws and almost all of the new record shine. VG copies are average used but not abused records. Lots of light marks/ scratches but no serious flaws. Usually plays with very little background noise. I try to provide a play grade as well as visual grade whenever possible. Please read description of the cover and vinyl carefully so that you know how I graded each record.
