This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “Sextet” on the West 63rd (no “INC”) labels of Blue Note BLP 1560. The playing surface shows significant wear; although it plays through, it is noisy. The original laminated West 63rd St. cover is in extraordinary condition, very close to new condition in all respects. Essentially, bidders will be purchasing a beautiful replacement cover. Personnel include Donald Byrd, John Jenkins, Bobby Timmons, Wilbur Ware, and Philly Joe Jones. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
