Happy Go Licky 12" EP out of print MINT Rites of Spring
DESCRIPTION: Mint condition copy of a 6-song 12" EP by Happy Go Licky, Peterbilt Records, Washington, DC, 1988. Recorded live. Only 1,000 pressed, and long out-of-print. Songs are: Boca Raton, Suzuki, Pastel Blue Eyes, Ansol, White Lines, Torso Butter. Happy Go Licky featured the same members as Rites of Spring (Guy Picciotto, Eddie Janney, Michael Fellows, Brendan Canty), although they were quite different, musically. Happy Go Licky was only around from 1987 until New Year's Day 1988 (I will also be auctioning a poster I silkscreened for that New Year's Day show at the 9:30 Club, which turned out to be the last show for both my band 3 as well as Happy Go Licky).CONDITION / PROVENANCE: Record is in absolutely pristine condition. It has been kept in a plastic sleeve away from light and dust for the last 24 years. Record has never been played. This record is unconditionally guaranteed to be original, from 1988. It comes from my (Jeff Nelson - Minor Threat/Dischord Records) punk archives, which are being downsized after continuing to be described variously as "too big" and "insane" or containing "more than my potential kids or grandkids will ever want."
