ARTIST: Harold Land
TITLE: West Coast Blues
LABEL: Jazzland JLP 920S, 1966 USA Stereo Pressing
CONDITION: NM/NM
SLEEVE: NM, only superficial flaws, corner damage to bottom left corner and top left corner, some mild chipping on edges, aging on white parts of cover (could probably be gently cleaned off if one is so inclined).
RECORD: NM, some paper scuffing that does not affect play, also one visible (but not feelable) mark on side 1 also not affecting play. I play graded the LP and it plays loud, strong, excellent!
COMMENTS: Harold Land rules! A giant of the tenor sax, here he is backed up by an incredible band: Joe Gordon (trumpet), Wes Montgomery (guitar), Barry Harris (piano), Sam Jones (bass), and Louis Hayes (drums). This album cooks AND swings. This is the second pressing of this album, 6 years after the black label original. Hard to find on any pressing, bid on this jazz classic!
