I am selling off a selection of nice sounding copies of Beatles 1st pressings which whilst not perfect visually all play more or less without clicks or ticks. Just some very occasional light back background noise. These are very strong playing copies.
Vinyl grades visually as follows:
Side 1 : EX+ : exceptionally light markings and two tiny non-sounding white spots which look like pressing faults. Side 2 : EX+ : some exceptionally light markings visible when held at an angle under strong light Side 3 : EX- : one light non feel-able and non sounding scratch at start of the side Side 4 : EX+ : some exceptionally light markings visible when held at an angle under strong light
Overall plays a very strong EX+ with minimal background noise. No clicks or ticks if I remember.
The top opening sleeve is overall EX+ except for a small cut to the rear at the top of the spine (see phone) and light mark on rear. Only very light creasing and little sign of yellowing. For these reasons I will grade as EX.
Black inner sleeves are VG- with one torn by the centre hole.
Photographs are NM, spacer is VG+ with some creasing and poster is EX-.

Please note I use UK Record Collector grading system for all albums with the addition of the accepted Near Mint category:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
NEAR MINT: The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner
and is assumed to have been played by them
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
I try to be as accurate as possible, however, we are all human so if there are any problems please let me know.
