Hippie Psych LP Frank Zappa Lumpy Gravy First Pressing Verve 1968 NM Vinyl

Not many collectors know, but that’s Tommy Tedesco on guitar on some of the tracks!

Vinyl--- NM.  Looks unplayed and new.  Notes say that this LP could use a VPI cleaning, so I’m guessing it has passages of static.

Plates--- V6-8741 MGS 1068-1/ V6-8741 1069-1

Cover--- Very nice, although not NM.  Structurally very solid, NO SPLITS.  Not even almost.  Light to moderate ringwear to top edges, front and back.  Gatefold is muscular strong.  NO wear, NO center seam splits.

Labels--- NM.  NO spindle marks.  Initials written so lightly on Side 1 label that I didn’t even know they were there until I photographed it.  And I’ve had this album for decades.  I brightened the photo in order to allow it to show, but it isn’t anywhere near this prominent in person.

Verve Inner Sleeve--- Included, and in very nice condition.  NO seam splits.  Brighter than most Verve sleeves you find.  Sleeve was creased when originally packaged.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
