Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonatas for Cello & Piano Nos. 1 & 2
Performed by Elly Ney & Ludwig Hoelscher.
German Ed1 Telefunken mono-pressing from the 50s with purple & golden labels.
Art.-No.: BLE 14 081.

Condition Cover: G+ to VG .Thin laminated papersleeve with typical signs of wear and lamination lift on front. Not as strongly discolored as many other copies.
A bit yellowed, rather strong abrasions along the edges, no splits.

Condition Vinyl: VG+ to EX. No spindle-wear, can hardly have ever been played. Has a modest amount of faint paperscuffs only, but the surfaces obviously
have reacted with the plastic of the innersleeve. I have cleaned this several times with my Okki Nokki and I could wash off most of it, but under strong light some remains
of the film are still visible. The record plays great for the by far biggest part, with some light surface noise and subdued swooshing sound in the quieter passages when
played with a stereo pick-up. Very well possible that further cleaning will improve the quality. It should play great already as it is when a proper mono pick up is used.
Massive, more than 200g heavy pressing.

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

A note about my record-grading:
I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.
My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
