Description
Original motion picture soundtrack album for Paramount Pictures' "Holiday Inn" (1942).
Intact and complete album with 7 ten-inch shellac disks (14 songs), featuring Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Bob Crosby and his orchestra, John Scott Trotter and his orchestra, Margaret Lenham, Ken Darby Singers.
Included in these disks is the rare, original 1942 recording of "White Christmas", which became so popular during WW2 that Decca's master wore out and Crosby had to re-record the song in 1947, the version which virtually all compilations now feature.
