           Honeycombs LP~ ( Original U.K Pye Mono~NPL 18097)~Monster 1964 Beat~Joe Meek~Honey Lantree       Maybe its the genious of Joe Meek  ( producer..and pioneer of the "space sound"...with The Tornadoes and a 1960 project with the "Blue Men") or is it Honey thumbing on the drums or the guitar work by Martin Murray and Allan Ward ( and yes..the beat ...almost surf guitar sound is what does it for me...back up with big sound drums & bass)..or the great vocals ( mainly Denny D'ELL)...that makes the Honeycombs so special ?   Evidently "Have I The Right?" ...which could well be the best song ever..has Joe thumbing his foot on the wood floor of the recording studio ( his)...to increase the big sound during the chorus lines.  In good condition ( and plays great & sounds FANTASTIC!).  Some light surface marks on the vinyl and some clicks etc ( more so in between tracks).  Grading 8/10 on the visual look of the vinyl and grading 8.5/10 on tracking and audio.  Cover will delight the new owner ..with general ( acceptable) aging ( pencil printed price on the back....think it say $5 million dollars...lol)
