Horace Silver Quintet    Finger Poppin'   Blue Note BST 4008 stereo 47 W 63rd NYC label   

 

Horace Silver (p), Blue Mitchell (t), Junior Cook (ts), Eugene Taylor (b), Louis Hayes (d)  Recorded 1959 

"47 West 63rd NYC label" both sides. "RVG STEREO" and "P" aka "The Ear" in runout both sides. Deep groove both sides.  "43 West 61st St., New York 23" address on cover

 Record looks M- and plays very nicely at strong VG++ near M-.  No scratches or scuffs. Vinyl is bright and glossy, grooves are not gray or worn and record looks little played. Label both sides has smearing of print.   

 Cover is strong VG+.

  A nice looking cover. "STEREO" sticker on front. Front and back cover look glossy and bright with light to moderate wear.  No split seams. Small spots of wear at the corners.At the top of spine is spot of less than 1/4 inch heavy wear where cover slick is missing. Light pencil check marks next to 2 tunes.
