This is the original Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Horace Silver “Silver’s Serenade” on the “New York USA” labels of Blue Note BLP 4131. The playing surface is mint, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated cover has the “43 West 61st St.” address; sharp corners and perfect seams; bright and clean throughout; light foxing on the left edge and lower left corner of the back slick. Personnel include Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor, and Roy Brooks.
