LABEL: Cadet Concept LPS 319 (1969)
TITLE: This Is Howlin' Wolf's New Album. He Doesn't Like It. He Didn't Like His Electric Guitar At First Either.
CONDITION:
Cover: VG++ w/ a few light creases on the front cover, a 2" bottom seam split, some light aging spots on the back cover.
Record: This LP has been played and looks a little rough w/ surface marks a scuffs but has no real scratches and plays VG++ w/ some light surface noise heard mostly in between tracks and on Track 4, Side A (Moanin' In the Moonlight), which plays VG+ w/ just a bit more surface noise. / VPI cleaned.
COMMENTS: Original copy. / The Wolf goes psychedelic on this LP thanks to producers Marshall Chess, Charles Stepney & Gene Barge & the crazed psychedelic guitar of the great Pete Cosey who later went on to play in Miles Davis' greatest electric band. Other musicians include Hubert Sumlin, Louis Satterfield, Morris Jennings, Roland Faulkner, Phil Upchurch & Gene Barge. / Tracks : Spoonful...Tail Dragger...Smokestack Lightning...Moanin' At Midnight...Built For Comfort...Evil...Down In the Bottom...300 Pounds Of Joy...Back Door Man...
