Description
Hunter Muskett : Original Decca Nova LP : Everytime you Move :
Very rare LP on the short lived “Nova” label that was a Decca subsidiary label that was in existence for less than a year.
Condition is a nice VG/VG , I have play graded this album and can confirm there are NO “Skips or Jumps” anywhere on both sides
The album plays with a little audible “crackle” at the intro grooves but once the music kicks in you can’t really hear any of it.
THE SLEEVE ......the sleeve shows a little wear to it with a small half-inch tear to the opening mouth of the front of the sleeve , but no paper is missing and this doesn’t carry through to the back of the sleeve...only the front (see the photo)
Due to its un-laminated thin paper construction these types of sleeves are prone to picking up all sorts of marks on them in their life this one shows a little “ringwear” but nothing too bad.......no seam splits to any of the 3 sides
THE SPINE......Shows a bit of “crushing” to it , but no splits or tears and by and large is still very legible....see both photos provided.
THE LABELS ....both labels have no damage to either of them , no writings , no old sticker stains , but both show a few “snail trail” marks around the spindle hole indicating previous play
THE VINYL .....neither sides show any excessive play marks other than the usual light “in-out-in-out” paper marks of being placed into its inner sleeve.
SIDE ONE .....side 1 has a scuff mark that travels over the 3rd and 4th track of Side 1 , but it plays through absolutely fine with no audible distractions caused by these scuff marks
SIDE TWO ....Side 2 has a small “stain” on the last track of side 2 , this looks like something has been splashed on it at sometime in the past , it’s only a small “spot” and again plays through fine , with no jumps or skips to it ...but it does have a very feint “tick” to it as the stylus passes through.
So in closing , this album is by no means in “Mint” condition or even “EX” condition , but I’ve tried to be hyper-critical of its condition and faults in my description , it’s a good solid album with a few visual flaws and I’ll think you’ll be happy with my description of it should you win the auction......
it goes without saying that if your not happy with it , I’m happy to accept its return and will refund you as soon as I have it back
