This auction is for the 7" single "I Feel Strange" b/w "Rolling In On A Burning Tire" by The Dead Weather. Only available if you crack open your Triple Decker Record. These singles were only released on the Triple Decker 7". Please note in the photos that this 7" is not in perfect condition. It was opened and played from the day these went on sale exclusively at Third Man Records in Nashville.
The record has a couple of small marks/scratches on the A side only (from when it was removed from its shell) which can be seen in the accompanying photos. The record does not skip, but there is a "crackle" in a couple of spots from one of them on the A side only. I listened to this record maybe 10 times and it always sounded great, so there's no real wear or scratching issues.
Included for free is the outer shell of the Triple Decker Record. I was eager to get this open when I bought it so I just cracked it open without being gentle. The Triple Decker record does still stay together in one piece, but is unplayable. (You can of course purchase the music from the Triple Decker grooves in a black vinyl version through Third Man Records.
Don't let the non-mint condition of the 7" be too much of a deterrent in bidding on this rare open copy of a Triple Decker. This is a great record to play, especially knowing most of them were left sealed inside collections around the world.
