I GRES s/t MEGA-RARE SUPERB ITALIAN SONOR LIBRARY ORIGINAL 1974 GLOBEVISION LABEL STEREOMONO PRESSING, CATALOG#. GV-001, ITALY. A really must-have for any Soundtrack/Break DJ vinyl collector. This is Silvano Chimenti/Romano Rizzati (alias Walter Rizzati) I GRES Vol.1, a sought-after monster Funky Breaks Library famous the track "Restless" made famous by DJ Leacy, and containing other dope Breaks and beats. A really great Funk Library gem and absolutely Rare as at the time these sonor releases were made on limited pressings only and not sold to the public. Vol.1 of 3, this is surely the best I GRES of the serie. Laminated front cover, Killer! I GRES were a studio group only founded by Silvano Chimenti that recorded 3 studio albums, recording Funky Library music. As is date to know, members were lead guitarist' S.Chimenti, the great Jazz maestro Roberto Pregadio, and the Roman Jazz pianist Enrico Pieranunzi. The LP is mainly based on Rock-Blues, Funky & Groovy music. Among the tunes, "RESTLESS" and " VOLEUR" are both characterized by exciting Funky sound: organ, wind instruments and obsessive drumming. "JEANETTE" is a magnificent Bossa track, "PLANCTON" a special Rock-Blues with the Chimenti's electric guitar in prominence; "RONDE BOSSE" a romantic Bossa, "HOT DOGS" Funk and killer guitar with distortions.

THE 1st KILLER TRACK ON B SIDE "HOT DOGS" SOUNDS AN EXCELLENT VG+, WHILE THE SUBSEQUENT B2 IS VG- BECAUSE OF A VISIBLE MARK WHICH COVERS THE BEGINNING OF THE B SIDE AND CAUSES A CONSTANT CLICK ALSO AUDIBLE IN THE FOLLOWING TRACK STARTING. THE REST OF THE SIDE SOUNDS A NICE VG+. COVER: NICE VG++, JUST SOME DISCOULORATIONS ON THE BACK CAUSED BY THE TIME, OTHERWISE ALMOST PERFECT.
