Description
Very Rare and OOP, original 1977 RCA Records, first US pressing. One of the best releases of the 70s. Dark, mechanical, and totally desolate, this record hits the listener like a hot iron and plunges them into a vision of the future of rock and roll. This album was way ahead of it's time, to say the least. Produced by and all songs co-written with David Bowie during his and Iggy's sojourn in Berlin during 1977, coming out shortly before Bowie's own "Low" album, sharing many of the amazing sonic qualities with that classic, but even more brooding and cold, and this being Iggy, much more sleazy and aggressive. No CD or reissue has ever come close to the original vinyl in the power and expansiveness of its sound, this is the only way to hear this masterpiece.
From my private collection, vinyl in strong VG+ condition, plays excellent, very clean, only very occasional ticks audible between songs. The cover has a fair amount of normal shelf ware, not too surprising for its age, some ring ware visible, but no splits or rips at all, still very good.
Packed and shipped with care.
