On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Incredible String Band called 'The 5000 Spirits Or The Layers Of The Onion' and is an ORIGINAL UK 1967 MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Orange Elektra' label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST INCREDIBLE STRING BAND LPS EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE (WITH A MISPRINTED SIDE 1 LABEL!) AND IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THE SIDE 1 LABEL - YOU  CAN CLEARLY SEE IT HAS PRINTED ON IT 'THE 5000 SPIRITS' ONLY!!!!  THIS WAS A SERIOUS OMISSION (MISSING HALF THE LPS TITLE!) AND THIS WAS QUICKLY CORRECTED TO 'THE 5000 SPIRITS OR THE LAYERS OF THE ONION' IMMEDIATELY (YOU CAN SEE THIS ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL) - AND THIS FULL TITLE APPEARED ON BOTH LABELS ON ALL LATER 1ST PRESSINGS!!!!  DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE AMAZING RARITY OF THIS LP!!!!  THIS AMAZING MISTAKE WAS CORRECTED EVEN BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE - AND ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED) OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - EVER HAD THIS ULTRA RARE 'SIDE 1 LABEL ERROR' AND THIS LP IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT, BUT AS I MENTIONED ABOVE THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ORANGE 'MISPRINTED' ELEKTRA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EUK 257 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Orange Elektra label (see picture) and is a 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 absolutely TINY hairline type mark (only visible under the most EXTREME light ONLY!), only 1 absolutely TINY scuffline trace, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only 3 or 4 light clicks on 1 track ONLY (NONE elsewhere!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press MONO Cover is in SUPERB condition - and easily the BEST I have EVER seen!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear AT ALL (100% PERFECT side words!), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO sticker tears, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover back even has its ORIGINAL Record Shop sticker at the VERY bottom from where this record was purchased back in 1967!!!!  This cover must grade Excellent+ if not better - and is by some considerable distance, the BEST conditioned 1st Press cover for this LP that I have EVER seen!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
