INFINITE STAIRCASE-45-“Margaret” b/w “Long Hair”-Black Sheap Records #BS-1337-KillerKool 1967 San Antonio TEXAS Garage-Punk-Most of you may be familiar with this through comps over the years-if not-a great 2-sider-A side is a great 2-guitar dominated punker with a Stones-ish ‘Everybody Need Somebody To Love’ sort of riff complemented with a somewhat ‘Asian’ riff as well-great aloof, gutteral lead vocal, somewhat off-key backing vocals, cool dual cryptic lead guitar break...B side is total anti-establishment protest folk-punk with references to bad guys with short hair like Lee Harvey Oswald and Richard Speck...if this record came out today it would have to be a 20 album set to fit in the names of all the short haired idiots around nowadays just in Washington DC! In any case-great 2-sided TEXAS punker...super rare...I have only seen 2 copies of this in 37 years... Condition: Record is MINT-Minus with exception of a very small quick warp which does not affect play tracking at 1 gram on a Thorens turntable... Label clean both sides...
