Description
This is a very nice copy of the single - New York New York by a little known group known as Eccohomo. This is not the song you normally hear by a well known US crooner but a song written by this band. Recorded in Melbourne on U2 s Lovetown tour Eccohomo was a collabortive effort featuring michael hutchence - ( INXS lead singer ) , Ollie Olsen - ( Melbourne punk artist of high repute ) and co founder of max Q - michaels other main project ) . and a guest appearance by Bono and The Edge . Releasd on the Roo Art label - a small inependent label - stories came out that bono was o it -. I rang to confirm - it with the record confirm it and they denied it . I rang polygram and they immediately confirmed it . It seems that somewhere in the chain of command - there was never an agreement between Island and they refused to let it be issued elsewhere. The cover has some marks from storage but the record is mint .
The b - side Stress is as good as anything michael ever worked on and is a typical quality piece he generally worked on with the guys from INXS.
Crazy but - true. I have just checked the vinyl and it is beautiful - - a couple of tiny marks and that is it. . Issued in 1989 - it is a nice piece. In U2s case it is their first real step into the realm of rock and dance music. Yes this one is more of a club song but this was a catalyst for such brilliant things as Achtung Baby. and Zooropa. I will start it at $60 but please remember they are Aussie independent releases. And no there is no vinyl reprints here now what has been issued then is it. As a collector i think that is a fair price.

As you will see later I do have one thing and that is the buyer will be responsible for postage - at a secure rate - (Aus Post does not register to all countries so - bearing that in mind -) I can do my best - but I will ship anywhere - but in the end - either an alternative is found , a document waiving me of any obligations once an item is sent - or the right to cancel the whole deal and refund your money . I have only ever had one thing sent by me go astray - and I advised them of the number but - it turned up.
I am waiting on one item I despatched but have heard nothing and sadly - they were too tight to pay any extra so - as result you want and are responsible or - you are not. serious about the item. My post covers registered or insured. If It is Canada I send a slip to guarantee that I get confirmation.
Canada and similar countries - I will only ship via courier - thanks to the lack of communication and the fact Aus post does not insure or register to there. I would also point out - I have never had anyone say that my item is too shabby or that it was badly packed. I strive to serve my customers well and honestly - so I in return expect some sort of reciprocation. Thanks
