Iggy Pop ORIG OZ LP TV eye live 1977 EX RCA APL12796 Stooges Detriot Rock
Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1978 on RCA REcords. Cat: APL12796. Comes with printed inner bag which has some light age spots and a small deletion cut on one corner and is in Excellent condition. Iggy assembled soundboard tapes from three dates on his 1977 tour. Four cuts are taken from an October date in Kansas City the K.C. performance sounds livelier than the selections from late March gigs in Cleveland and Chicago. (The more staid Cleveland and Chicago cuts feature one David Bowie on keyboards, while for the later show he was replaced by former Stooge-for-a-day Scott Thurston.)
Tracks : T.V. eye/ Funtime/ Sixteen/ I got a right/ Lust for life/ Dirt/ Nightclubbing/ I wanna be your dog. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ringwear and marks and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
