Description
This is a 1968 1st pressing release spot played & visually inspected LP NM-, has no marks that I can see under a strong light, this is the original FIRST pressing only the first 5 Blue Thumb releases had this black, silver, & blue label, it was only used for 1 yr 1968, the yr this was released, then in 1969 the white with a blue thumb was used, this copy is ultra rare, it wasn't a big seller to begin with & how many copies have survived, so any copies with the white label AREN'T original 1st pressings, they are still good copies but not the original, so if your looking for the real thing here it is, stampers BTS- 5009-1C & BTS-5010-1E, don't know if there was a 1A pressing, but really doesn't get much earlier than this, has a beautiful shine, looks brand new ,I spot played every cut, they came through as if this record just came out of the presses, great low end on last cut side2, and some on side1 as well, don't think a better copy exists, cleaned it on my VPI 16.5 with MFSL special enzyme deep cleaner, wasn't dirty to begin with but its now at its best, you need to have it as I'm cleaning out my collection of 15,000 lp's, Cover VG+ is slightly dirty on back has some ring wear, but no wear on the edges, & gatefold is excellent, this was a very controversial cover, considered a protest cover, would never be issued in today's market, don't know if a revised cover was ever made, see pics, has new inner sleeve after cleaning, label has no marks, spindle hole shows no marks but it was played very carefully, see pics, I have other rare listings will combine ship wait for invoice, I am in the process of listing some very rare recordings, international bidders, please ask for shipping cost before buying, box sets & combined shipping can go over 4lbs, these will have to go Priority mail
