Description

This is an original from 1955 that is in excellent condition! Increasingly difficult to find, especially in this condition. The only others I found for sale are on Discogs.com for $179. & also the later 1957 German version on eBay for $200!

The albums are both in great condition, there’s a little smudging that could be cleaned but no scratches. The case is still in solid condition but has a slight stain markings. There are no rips or tears. Overall very good for its old age.


This rare record features the captivating sounds of Mambo for Cats, a Latin jazz masterpiece from 1955. With a speed of 45 RPM and a record size of 7", this double EP is a must-have for any vintage record enthusiast. The original cover, designed by the renowned artist Jim Flora, adds an extra element of collectibility to this first edition that is almost impossible to find in this nice condition! This is the only one that I could find on eBay! The only other is a German 1957 version at an asking price of $200!


The vinyl matrix number 547-0479 / 547-0480, record label RCA Victor, and catalog number EPB 1063 are all present on this exceptional piece of music history.
