Description
Given the astonishing number of variations, I am out of my depth on this one so will stick to the facts re: provenance & vinyl condition and let the 12 detailed photos tell the rest. Note: Album was photographed in close-up under bright light so you can see exactly what you are getting.
WHEN/WHERE PURCHASED: I bought it with my allowance at Pittsburgh's National Record Mart (Murray Ave. location) in 1964 the minute it was available.
VINYL (under LED light): Side 1 - Light scuffs which appear to be fairly superficial. Don't see any scratches except in dead wax.
Side 2 - Light scuffs (probably from paper dust jacket, which is not the original) and one or two light scratches. Track 3, "Do You Want to Know A Secret?," has a tiny divot. It is baked in, i.e. there when purchased new, not the result of damage, and I don't remember it skipping, but it's been decades since I played it.
DEAD WAX: Side 1 - 63-3402-1 (hand-etched)
Side 2 - 63-3403-1 (hand-etched) Note: Both sides are also stamped, but I cannot read it even under bright light.
