Description

This is the German 12" 45 rpm, Maxi Single Super Sound Version of "Run To The Hills". The EMI record is from 1982, and is in Excellent condition. It comes with the non-album track, "Total Eclipse" on the other side.      The record sleeve is Tyvek. Those were used on the European singles. It's smooth & soft but incredibly sturdy, so while the sleeve is VG+ on the back, it looks VG++ on the front. That's very strange.      One day during the Spring of 1984, a Brooklyn guido I knew gave me this record and others because none of the customers he was attracting to his dance-music mixtape business were requesting Iron Maiden. You can tell he bought it in a supermarket because there's an oval, orange PAID sticker inside I don't want to remove. I said, "thanks, John." He knew it was cool just by lookin' at it, but his record bins were overflowin' with the really important stuff: I forget what.      Can you imagine Iron Maiden records in the supermarket? That was The Eighties. The 12" Single culture of the time mixed him up to where he just assumed the Iron Maiden records he ended up giving me were Heavy Metal extended dance mixes.      Now I'm listing it real cheap despite the Excellent condition. It's no good if no one listens to it. See my other listings for Iron Maiden singles (and tomorrow when a 1st Pressing of The Number Of The Beast on EMI/Harvest will be listed for $20.)
