Released by Island in 1968, cat # WI-3107; this is “Lesson Of Love†by the Uniques c/w “Till I Die†by Delroy Wilson.

Both labels are unmarked with no spindle marks evident on either label. Now for the shock – there is a surface mark on the A-side that comes in from the run out to three quarters across the track. Clearly, this has not been caused by playing and I can only think it was sent out by Island that way. You have to remember that these Island singles in particular have lain in a box undisturbed for nearly forty years and the vast majority weren’t even played when brand new.
Anyway, playing-wise, both sides play at least excellently with the surface mark on the A-side causing no unwanted noise of fault. There is a tiny amount of surface noise on the B-side, but after one light clean in thirty eight years I think that is pretty good!
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
