Description
Here's an extremely rare, original Sterling Sound mastering acetate for Jack Nitzsche's unique modern classical album with the London Symphony Orchestra. The the album grew out of Nietzsche's orchestral production work on Neil Young's Harvest. This reference acetate evidently belonged to Nitzsche himself, although I did not acquire it directly from his estate. It is double-sided and contains the entire album. According to the notes on the cover, the disc was cut on March 10, 1972. It's in VG+ condition. Note that there is a little dimple in the runout groove that does not affect playback on either side. Playback is quiet and excellent throughout. See pics above.
