GRADING
SLEEVE: VG
The sleeve shows some general edge wear but with no breaks or splits. There is some wear to the spine although the spine text is nice and clear. There is some light ringwear to the front and rear. The poster is in great condition with some light yellowing to the bottom but with no staining or tears.
RECORD: VG+
The record retains is lovely deep sheen. There are a couple of light hairlines and some very light sleeve removal marks visible under bright light. None of these marks are feelable or substantial. The entire record plays really well with some isolated surface noise well below the level of the music.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

However, as I mail a number of records at one time i occasionally lose track of who paid what postage for which record.
