From the archive of noted James Brownj historian, Alan Leeds.
 Incredibly rare....very few of these metallic acetate master references were cut. Few survived as most were eventually scrapped.
This is the complete classic version of GIVE IT UP that appears on the SEX MACHINE album with Brown backed by his 1970's J.B.;s that include Catfish & Bootsy Collins and drummer Clyde Stubblefield. Yes, the overdubbed audience is on this version.
NOTE: Acetate reference discs are not intended for repeated play - their function was as a TEST record.. HOWEVER, these play and sound great!
