JAMESON RAID: SEVEN DAYS OF SPLENDOUR E.P. SEVEN DAYS OF SPLENDOUR / IT'S A CRIME // CARCHER IN THE RYE GBH GBH-001 UK 7" 1979 IN BLACK PICTURE SLEEVE WITH INSERT AND ORIGINAL LETTER DATED 16TH FEBRUARY 1979 WITH PRESS INFO Scarce and excellent private hard rock / metal / nwobhm 7" from 1979 on their own label (see Mario Panciera's 45 Revolutions book for full details on band and release) - this is the black p/s variant (white p/s variant exists too) and comes with an original letter from their manager to Tommy Vance at BBC/radio One dated 16th February 1979 and together 2 pages with press clipping and publicity of the band - as the letter reads: ".. Jameson Raid are second only in popularity in the Birmingham area to JUDAS PRIEST, something that we working at.."
