Description
JAZZ - .Richard M Jones (piano) with Johnny St Cyr (banjo) and Albert Nicholas (clarinet) on 6 November 1925 in Chicago. Visually the record is very good - VG++/E- with good shine and plays very well with good fidelity and low background noise HOWEVER there is a full width repaired and stabilised crack across the playing surfaces on both sides of the record - see photos. This results in a noticeable ticking when playing which gradually fades as each side plays through (especially on side B) where is almost fades away. No skips however. Whether this detracts from the listening experience is a matter of taste but the record plays superbly otherwise. This is a rare disc and still very collectable even in this damaged condition.
