Jean Claude Vannier, Gainsbourg arranger and composer of the cult concept album "L'enfant assassin des mouches" recorded this little known album entirely dedicated to the great french popular songwriter Georges Brassens. Brilliant only instrumental versions of classic songs like "Stances à un cambrioleur" or "Supplice pour être enterré à la plage de Sète". A superb wordless travel into Brassens revisited world. Lush string arrangements of course, crazy percussion, synth, effects on accordeon, vibes, voices, this album sounds experimental and groovy at the same time, it would appeal to De Roubaix, Gainsbourg, André Popp, Karl Heinz Schaffer fans
