Description
Artist: JEAN RITCHIE
Title: “Saturday Night and Sunday Too”
Label: RIVERSIDE. Monaural first-pressing on heavy vinyl. Label is white with pale blue logo and black text, with wide deep groove. Catalog number is RLP 12-620.
Year: 1956.
Personnel: Jean Ritchie – vocals, mountain dulcimer. Occasional violin and banjo accompaniment by Roger Sprung.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care. Grades nice VG+ to VG++ with a couple minor hairline scuffs. There are a few soft tics, but no serious marks or problems. Fidelity is excellent. Labels have a bit of minor light spotting, but otherwise are clean. A very fine copy of this scarce gem.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++ with no major problems. Front artwork is clean and bright, with some light surface wear beginning to appear. Seams are intact except for small split (less than two inches) at the top right corner opening. Spine has a bit of minor cracking, but is intact and unsplit. Reverse displays a bit of minor very light spotting, otherwise clean and white. No writing or stickers. Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the nice sounding disc.
