Fronted by Jeremy Steig, who'd earlier played with Peter Walker, this band's psychedelic
rock LP has now become a very minor collectors' item. It was produced by John Court
who also worked with Electric Flag and the Butterfield Blues Band.
The band backed Tim Hardin live, and some members did some recording sessions with him

Known as one of the first groups to play in the jazz-rock style, Jeremy and the Satyrs' sole album,
from 1968, has been heard by relatively few. Playing in a late '60s groove
with echoes of free jazz, Roland Rahsaan Kirk (particularly in the flute), and soul singers,
the record can now be seen as one of the first to address itself to a contemporary
audience unconcerned with conventional boundaries between these genres...(AllMusic)
