JERRY LORDAN ALL MY OWN WORK…..PARLOPHONE … # PMC 1133 MONO
On offer here is the mega rare album from Jerry Lordan, entitled ‘All My Own Work’. This was Jerry’s only album and was issued on Parlophone in 1961 on the classic Black & Gold label.
As you most likely know, Jerry wrote some of the Shadows greatest hits including’ Apache’, hits for Cliff Richard, Shane Fentone & many more. Therefore this album is a must for fans for both Jerry Lordan and the Shadows. With accompaniment directed by Johnny Spence this LP features 12 great songs, including: Leave me Alone, All Night Long, Apache, Married, The Worlds Loneliest Man, First Romance & Man On My Trail.
Now, my copy of this record is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with a brilliant high sheen on both sides 1 & 2 ! There is virtually no sign of any spindle wear on either side with the Parlophone labels in MINT condition. I have graded the cover as VG++ with very minor creasing along the spine.
This record is a collector’s item, not only for those who love Jerry Lordan, but for historians of Parlophone Records . Here is an EXCELLENT example of a 1961 Gold Parlophone release!
