An extremely rare copy of the first comedy album by the legendary comedian/magician JERRY SADOWITZ, known for his provocativeness and sheer offensiveness. And for being very very funny.
Recently, Sadowitz was voted the world's 15th greatest stand-up comedian by his fellow comedians in the Channel 4 production ‘One Hundred Greatest Stand-Ups’.
This record, recorded live at the Assembly Rooms Edinburgh in 1987, from his hit Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Total Abuse’, was released in very limited numbers on vinyl by Sadowitz and his then manager Malcolm Hardee, but was soon withdrawn due to fears it may have libelled Jimmy Savile. It has been unavailable for many many years, and is much sought after by comedy collectors.
As it says on the sticker on the cover: ‘Warning: this album contains material that is offensive to everyone’
But very very funny….
The record is in absolutely excellent condition, and also the sleeve.
