Description

JETHRO TULL - A PASSION PLAY - 1973 FRENCH 7" TEST PRESSING - GOOD

This is a very rare French 7" test pressing single of Jethro Tull's "A Passion Play" from their 1973 album with the same title; Tracks: Side A: A Passion Play; Side B: A Passion Play. Side A starts with "Coulours I've none...." and side B starts with "Flee the icy Lucifer...." . Actually it is the test pressing of the French 7" single release with catalogue number CHA 110, released in France in 1973 on the Chrysalis Records label (green).

The record is in good condition; there is considerable surface noise on both sides but no deterioration in the sound quality. There are tiny superficial scratches but no scratches that cause jumps. The record comes in a white sleeve (new). On the record label is written in ink "CHA 110", "Ian Anderson", "A" for side A and "Jethoo Tull" corrected as "Jethro Tull". The matrix print number is "KFM CHA 110 A/B".

Test pressings are very very rare; they usually ended up in the dustbin after listening and the OK for pressing with the correct label. This one has probably one of those. On side B you can see that there is some logo, probably left from printing other 7" with a different record label.

Another very very rare French 7" single in good condition!!
