JETHRO TULL *GERMANY* "WITCH'S PROMISE" B/W "TEACHER" (DIFFERENT VERSION) ISLAND 6-14 002 PICTURE SLEEVE 45 RPM VINYL SINGLE

Hello boys and girls: I continue to auction off my 31 yrs of collecting all things Tull. I have decided it is time to let these collectibles go to other Jethro Tull fans (plus I am still raising funds for graduate school tuition)!

A very nice German picture sleeve single from early 1970. For those of you fans who are only or mostly familiar with the heavy rocking version of "Teacher", this is - in my opinion - a nicer, more acoustic version not available to the US audience. This is a great picture sleeve with the boys showing some 'sexy' postures for the ladies! The sleeve is VG+ due to some very light staining on the top edge and very light ring wear - no split seams, tears or writing. The vinyl is VG/VG+ with some occasional surface noise but no warps or skips. The classic "eye" Island labels are clean. This is a great chance to pick up a great sleeve and hear the slower version of "Teacher"!

I play rate all vinyl and am a conservative grader (some say down right picky). A purely visual inspection might be convenient for the seller but not necessarily for the buyer! I've been collecting vinyl for 30 years and know from experience that visually a record might look mint but may play with a lot of surface noise; some vinyl looks pretty bad but may sound terrific. So, playing all of the record- not just bits- is the way to go.
