TITLE: Jethro Tull
LABEL: Reprise/Gamma GX 01-340
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Mexico
YEAR: 1968
COVER CONDITION: VG/VG+; cover looks very nice. It is laminated, and has some peeling and creasing. There is some corner wear and discoloration on the rear. Overall, this looks superb. (see pics)
VINYL CONDITION: VG/VG+; vinyl looks lovely and glossy with some light wear and a few light marks. Super clean labels.
DETAILS: very rare original 1968 Mexican press of the classic first album by Jethro Tull. This issue is just called "Jethro Tull", as opposed to "This Was" as it was known elsewhere. The cover has a unique design, with adverts for other Reprise albums: Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood, Frank Sinatra, Trini Lopez and The Vogues. The track listing is different too, with a-side singles "Love Story" and "Living In The Past" included:
