Released in 1967 on the Track label, I'm offering today this original first UK stereo pressing of this stunning second album from the late guitar legend JIMI HENDRIX which is titled "AXIS BOLD AS LOVE". This is a very good + near excellent playing example, This is an album that you need to have in STEREO with all the fazing. The vinyl shows a few light scratches but these cause no major problems aside from the odd pop and 15 light clicks on the track "CASTLES MADE OF SAND".

The album comes complete with its original Ernest J Day printed outer laminated gatefold sleeve which is in excellent condition. Usually when these sleeves turn up they are very worn but this is a very presentable example with vibrant colours and minimal creasing with no stickers splits or unwanted writing etc.

The fold out lyric insert is a reproduction purchased in Italy many years ago.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays through with very good to excellent audio with absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there was 15 light clicks on CASTLES MADE OF SAND.

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks well played with lots of light scratches. Audibly this plays through with very good audio with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc a very enjoyable listen.

The SLEEVE, The Ernest J Day outer laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It is very clean with vibrant colours and is free from unwanted writing or stickers etc but is showing some some minor laminate creases. still cleaner than most that turn up these days.

The LABELS, The Track labels are clean showing moderate spindle wear, Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The original generic white inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.

The INSERT, The rare lyric insert is a reproduction, which is very clean with no splits or pin holes etc

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
