FORMAT............ UK 12" 1ST PRESS VINYL LP FROM 1970-VERY RARE.
WITH THE MATRIX OF A1 AND B1 THIS IS A VERY FIRST PRESS WITH THE PUPPET SLEEVE AND THE MISSPRINT OF GYPSYS ON BOTH LABELS READING "GIPSIES"
The key features of this lp are summarised below:
Sleeve- Shows wear and creases and a name written neatly on rear top left.Has been well handled over the years and has seen better days but is still strong and in one peice.
Inner-The record is held in its original white paper inner.Clean and strong.
Labels- Clean showing spindle marks only.
Vinyl- This has been a well played lp and shows lots of scratches-some visible without bright light.Both sides however do retain some gloss.
THE PLUS SIDE-
Playback- PLAYS WITHOUT SKIP OR JUMP.
For all its visible faults,there are no loud pops.There are several background ticks but I really enjoyed this first press sound.Clear and loud.
If this sound doesnt blow you away,nothing will !!!!!!!!!!!
