TITLE : Electric Ladyland (1st Press - early issue)
Year : 1968
Label : Track 613008/09
Vinyl : VG (Some very light surface marks and a small (half inch) visible scratch on Side B Track 1 and Side D Track 4 both of which 'play through with some 'clicking'.)
This is a very early and I believe quite rare issue that was subsequently withdrawn. I have graded the vinyls carefully, they are not at all 'mint' and have been used but I have seen a lot worse and both discs are presentable and (well) playable.
Matrix Numbers - have #1#1#1#1 endings on all four sides and there are matt textured Track labels as only featured on the 1st press. Only the earliest pressings feature corrected matrixes on all four sides on the run off grooves and the discs are the original thick vinyl.
One of the photos shows an example of the crossed out matrix on one of the sides. In all these are:

Graded visually and based on the UK Record Collector Grading System hence, unless stated otherwise, the record has not been reviewed for audio quality
Sleeve: Gatefold Laminated Sleeve VG+
The sleeve does have some slight edge and corner wear and some very minor creasing in the laminate. The outer spine has only a slight splitting in the laminate and down the inner spine the laminate has split. This is an age related issue usually because the laminate has shrunk over time and then splits when the cover is opened flat.
The important point is that this is the very early issue having the Blue coloured track listing and the large pictures of Noel and Mitch - the later editions had much smaller pictures of Redding and Mitchell.
As you can see (I hope) from the photos, the blue track listing was done to overprint some erroneous listing done in white. Looking carefully at the print you can just make out the white lettering underneath the blue. The subsequent issues were printed in white.
All records are despatched in purpose made strengthened mailer envelopes with additional stiffener material
